



| In January of 2007, The Erie Township, MI Planning Commission formed an exploratory task force, to study the feasibility of constructing a Energy Recovery facility in Erie Township. The Erie Green Energy Recovery project (EGER) was born. We have been working to identify the best technology to turn Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and other carbon streams into other usable forms of energy. 04-2008 Update: Our research has paid off! After construction ends there will be approximately 140 permanent, well paying jobs, that will be filled by local qualified personnel. EWE needs a long term Purchase Power Agreement with a Power Broker in order to move forward with the project. We are in negotiations with several, and hope to sign a contract within the next several weeks. Once we sign we will move forward with due diligence in logical steps. We also want to get the whole State of Michigan, and eventually the Nation, on board with us to eliminate all present and future landfills. We want to model the program after the State of Iowa's "Waste not Iowa" program. We will be working with Iowa to get our program started.
