| Subject: From EWE Dear Kathy Angerer, I spoke with Vena McCracken, Vice President of Suncrest Energy, yesterday and she told me Frank Ferro and Ron Moffett, of the MEDC, informed her that you are having dinner w/ Anthony Earley, CEO of DTE, next weekend. We were hoping you could give him our Proposal on the EWE project. Whether the energy legislation passes or not, it is still a great project for all DTE shareholders to be involved in. We wanted to make some points on how we (SunCrest and DTE) can benefit From EWE now, and for years to come. • We have our own money, and require no subsidies • We are not just producing power but a total of 5 – by-products: Biodiesel, Ethanol, concrete products, rock-wool and high protein animal feed. We believe we have all the attributes to be a “Qualifying Facility” under PURPA. • We can help DTE with their fly ash/no need to land fill it in the future • REC’s are available @ $5.00 (Retail is $13-20). Carbon credits are available at $10/ton, due to our sequestration. • Fuel for their new hybrid vehicles • A real honest cool commercial; and TV adds that DTE is doing so much more for their environment • CO2 @ their coal plants can be converted in the future to a usable fuel using our algae technology • DTE, by buying SunCrest’s power is making Michigan first • A possible equity interest in a state of the Art environmental / EPA thumbs up facility • We will beat Florida, Illinois, Missouri and other Countries // MICHIGAN IS FIRST! • Help our local economy by offering hybrid fuel • Help our economy w/ tourism from people all over the world coming to Michigan to see the first facility of its kind • Help boost DTE’s energy sales on Green currents • In the future help Michigan reduce the costs of medical/hazard disposal costs • SunCrest has other technologies they are working on, and MEDC along w/ Kathy Angerer will promote possible hydroponics and fish farm industries. • The Film industry can do a documentary of the first facility and how Michigan companies grouped together to boost Michigan’s economy – No job left behind! • Michigan refuses to watch other states master new technology // Michigan has educated the world! I hope DTE looks at this email with Michigan in mind which will benefit their share holders in the very near future. I thank you Kathy and we commend all the effort you have and will put into our project. It is not just SunCrest but also Erie who deserves this facility. They have been host for a number of years to a landfill that will close soon, and people will loose their jobs and Erie their income. With all the above addressed, SunCrest and DTE together, can be the first to reduce landfilling – now that’s a commercial in itself//Michigan familys will appreciate this effort!
